Chris SIngleton's 'Twisted City' is an album with a London
theme - the record is conceived as a tube journey through the city,
with every song a stop on the line and about a particular person,
place or experience in the capital. To reflect this, Chris has
already done some unique London gigs, including launching the album
on the Underground and carrying out a series of guerrilla performances on taxis, tubes, buses and boats. All of which
attracted major media attention, including appearances on
BBC and ITV television.
The Monopoly tour, his most ambitious live project yet, involves
playing 29 short impromptu sets on the streets of the famous board
game (2-3 tracks per location). Taking in a power station and a a jail, the Monopoly Tour promises to be an
exciting experience and a fitting way to showcase some of the
excellent songs on 'Twisted City'. The tour coincides with the
release of Chris' new double A-side single 'Pieces / Gimme
Something'.
